Year 8 transition ceremony: an emotional close to Middle School

On Thursday 4 December, the Year 8 transition ceremony took place, marking the close of Middle School.

The ceremony included speeches by Head of Section Leslie Araya and Headmistress María Teresa Villa, who highlighted the students’ academic and personal growth, as well as the commitment of the families and teachers who have supported them throughout their educational journey.

During the event, representatives from each class, together with their form teachers, shared heartfelt words with the students, reflecting on the learning, challenges and experiences they have shared over the years.

The gathering also included an artistic performance by the Year 8 music group, who performed the song Quién es la que viene allí by Los Tres.

Finally, special recognition was given to the Valdivian Families of each class:

  • 8A: Rabaji Carrasco family
  • 8B: Silva Valdenegro family
  • 8C: Barrios Devia family

 

The ceremony was a moment of reflection, celebration and anticipation for a new educational stage, reaffirming the sense of community and belonging that defines our school.
