What's happening
At Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Providencia, our school uniform helps students feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn.
From Early Years to Senior School, each item is designed to support everyday wellbeing while fostering a sense of belonging and pride. Wearing the uniform reflects being part of a community that values unity, respect and school spirit. It also helps students focus on what matters most: learning, growing and feeling part of something meaningful.
The Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Providencia uniform helps students feel safe, included and ready to learn. All students are expected to follow the uniform guidelines, which support a respectful learning environment and help maintain focus throughout the school day.
School attire
Our uniform helps identify students, strengthen a sense of belonging and promote a smart appearance in line with school life.
Daily uniform requirements
Students are expected to attend all school activities wearing the correct uniform and following the school’s guidelines.
PE uniform
For sports lessons, students must wear the designated PE uniform, created to support comfort, movement and safety.
Personal presentation
Students are expected to maintain a neat and appropriate appearance, showing respect for themselves and the wider school community.
Responsibility and care
We encourage students to take care of their uniform as part of developing responsibility and a positive commitment to school life.
Playgroup, Pre-K and Kindergarten:
Students should wear the Physical Education sweatshirt and T-shirt, cotona (for boys), apron (for girls), the institutional vest and jacket or a navy blue parka, together with white trainers and socks.
Boys are expected to keep their hair short, neat and tidy, with a traditional style and reduced volume. Girls are expected to wear their hair clean, neat and tidy.
Additional uniform guidelinesComplementary items worn with the uniform, such as neck warmers, scarves, hats and gloves, must be in the school’s official colour and made of wool or fleece. All uniform items must be clearly labelled with the student’s name and class.
Grade 1 - 4
Physical Education sweatshirt and T-shirt, cotona (for boys), apron (for girls), institutional vest and jacket or navy blue parka, white trainers and socks. Boys are expected to keep their hair short, with reduced volume, in a traditional style, and always clean, combed and tidy. Girls are expected to wear their hair clean, combed and tidy.
Other items: Additional accessories worn with the uniform, such as neck warmers, scarves, hats and gloves, must be made of wool or fleece in the school’s official colour. All uniform items must be clearly labelled with the student’s name and class.
Grade 5 - 8
Students should wear a white T-shirt and skirt, black shoes, grey socks and/or tights, a navy blue vest, and the institutional jacket or parka.
Hair must be kept clean, natural, combed and tidy, with the face fully uncovered. Only headbands, clips and hair accessories with formal designs and in subtle colours are permitted.
As an alternative to the school skirt, students may wear traditional-cut grey tailored trousers during the months of May to September.
The sports tracksuit may only be worn on days when students have Physical Education lessons and/or extracurricular workshops.
Students should wear black shoes, grey or black socks, traditional grey trousers, a white T-shirt, the institutional vest, and the institutional jacket or a navy blue parka.
Hair must be kept short, with reduced volume, in a traditional style, and always clean, combed and tidy.

Make-up, nail varnish, bracelets, necklaces, piercings and earrings are not permitted, as they are not part of the school uniform. If a student has a large tattoo, it must remain covered by the uniform.
I to IV medium
Students should wear a white T-shirt and institutional skirt, black shoes, grey socks and/or tights, the institutional vest, and the institutional jacket or a navy blue parka.
Hair must be kept clean, combed and tidy, with the face fully uncovered. Only headbands, clips and hair accessories with formal designs and in subtle colours are permitted. Hair dye is not allowed.
In terms of accessories, only small and discreet earrings are permitted.
The sports tracksuit may only be worn for Physical Education lessons and sports activities. Outside scheduled Physical Education classes, it may only be worn with authorisation from the section leadership.
Students should wear a white T-shirt, the institutional vest, and the institutional jacket or a navy blue parka, together with traditional-cut grey trousers, black shoes, and grey or black socks.
Trousers must be worn with a dark, plain dress belt featuring a formal and discreet buckle.
