On Tuesday 10 March, the Middle School start-of-year assembly took place, marking the beginning of the academic year for students in this section. The ceremony welcomed the challenges and learning opportunities that this new school year will bring.During the assembly, a commemoration of International Women’s Day was also held. On this occasion, extracts from the lives of three Chilean women who have left an important mark on the country’s history were shared. Through their stories, students were able to learn about examples of effort, talent and commitment in different areas of society.The activity aimed to invite the Middle School community to reflect on the contribution of women to the making of history and to value their influence on culture, science, art and other areas of development.
