The Fibonacci Association of Mathematics and Physics, in collaboration with the Mathematical Modelling Centre of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Chile, and with the support of the Municipality of La Cisterna, organised the 10th edition of the Golden Number Tournament this year. The competition is aimed at students from Year 8 to Year 12 and is divided into two categories: Junior Level and Senior Level. The prize-giving ceremony took place on Tuesday 18 November at 6.30 pm at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile, located at Beauchef 851. During the event, students who achieved the best results in this year’s tournament were recognised. Our school was proud to celebrate the following award-winning students: Diego D. – Year 9B (Junior Level): bronze medal Armando V. – Year 11A (Senior Level): silver medal Benjamín M. – Year 12B (Senior Level): bronze medal We congratulate our students on their outstanding participation, dedication and enthusiasm for learning mathematics, and we recognise the value of these achievements, which reflect their effort and academic commitment.
