Training Workshop “Connecting Adolescents”: Strengthening Family Support

The “Connecting Adolescents” training workshop was held.

07-09-2026

As part of efforts to strengthen the well-being and holistic development of our students, the "Connecting with Adolescents" workshop was held; organized in collaboration with the *Lazos* Program, it was aimed at the mothers, fathers, and guardians within our educational community.

The event aimed to provide families with practical tools to positively support their children through adolescence, encouraging young people to engage in recreational activities and environments that foster healthy social development.

The session addressed the vital role adults play in fostering self-confidence, social skills, family communication, adherence to schedules and commitments, responsibility, and solidarity. It also created a space for dialogue and reflection on how families can stay connected to their children's interests while supporting them as they gradually develop autonomy and decision-making skills.

These sessions aim to strengthen the partnership between families and the school, recognizing that supporting our students requires a committed community capable of fostering dialogue, guidance, and support throughout the various stages of their development.

We extend special thanks to parents Leticia, Katherine, Katerine, and Carolina for their active participation in this meeting, where they shared their experiences, reflections, and concerns. Their willingness to engage and their commitment significantly enriched the event.

As an educational community, we hope to see greater participation from mothers, fathers, and guardians in future sessions. These gatherings offer a valuable opportunity to gain new tools, share experiences, and work together to build strategies that promote the well-being of our children and adolescents.

We thank the *Lazos* Program and the families who took part in this enriching event!
