During the week of March 16, our school held Cyberbullying Awareness Week, an educational initiative aimed at strengthening positive digital citizenship and promoting the responsible use of technology among our students. As part of Guidance classes and other educational activities, each school division explored this topic in ways appropriate to the students’ developmental stage. Key concepts such as the definition of cyberbullying, its main causes, and the consequences it can have on those who experience it, as well as those who participate directly or indirectly, were discussed.Students then took part in a variety of reflective activities that allowed them to analyze real-life situations, foster empathy, and develop the skills needed to act responsibly in digital environments. These experiences encouraged dialogue, critical thinking, and a commitment to respectful interactions both inside and outside the school community. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its students, strengthening not only academic learning but also socio-emotional growth and the creation of a safe, informed, and responsible educational community in the digital world.
