Throughout September, our community came together to support the Juan XXIII Soup Kitchen, an initiative that gathered food donations thanks to the collaboration of students and families ranging from the Early Years School to the Senior School. The campaign encouraged families to donate food items they already had at home, demonstrating that one does not need to make a massive contribution to create an impact. Rice, pasta, legumes, milk, canned goods, sauces, and other food items became a tangible contribution to the soup kitchen's vital work.On Wednesday, September 30, our Social Action students delivered the collected donations, bringing this community-wide initiative to a close. This effort reflects our commitment to holistic education, where solidarity, empathy, and responsibility toward our community and surroundings are integral parts of what we learn and experience together. We extend our gratitude to all the families and students who participated and whose contributions made this initiative possible, helping those who need it most.
